New V- poly inks.

 

NewV POLY series of UV inks has been developed for sheet- fed offset, rotary label (letterpress) & continuous forms printing on non-absorbent substrates. The NewV POLY series has very good adhesion properties.

Range of applications

  • NewV POLY series is suitable for:
  • Coated & uncoated paper grades and board stocks.

(Highly absorbent stocks can greatly reduce the curing speed)

  • Pre-treated PE, PVC, PP (corona or gas flame) or pre-primed material.
  • Aluminium - vaporized paper and board.
  • Aluminium foils.
  • NewV POLY series from ITX free Formulation.

 

 

 

The adhesion of UV-curing inks and varnishes to plastic films, cast-coated stocks and pretreated metal surfaces may be negatively affected by separating agents, slip agents and plasticisers adhering to these surfaces (especially plastic films). (We advise against printing on unpretreated metal surfaces due to unfavorable adhesion characteristics between UV ink/varnish films and the substrate surface.) Good resistance to the adhesive (Scotch) tape test does not

 

  • Non-absorbent substrates must have a surface tension of at least 38 mN/m in order to ensure optimum ink adhesion.In view of the large number of substrate suppliers and different substrates and substrate grades available, we recommend you carry out an adhesion test prior to beginning the print run.

 

Necessarily imply good scratch resistance (nail test). In such cases, overvarnishing with UV-curing varnishes can help improve scratch resistance. At any rate, UV-cured inks and varnishes must have good tape resistance in order to ensure trouble-free further processing. Due to the differences between the various materials mentioned above, we recommend you carry out tests prior to beginning the print run.

 

 

Printing auxiliaries:-

  • 40U1001 – UV Thinner Reducer:-Recommended amount 2-5% for the reduction of tack and viscosity.
  • 40U1013 - UV Activator Thinner Paste: - Recommended amount up to 10 % for the reduction of tack without reducing viscosity.
  • 40U2550- UV Activator Liquid: - Addition up to 5% to increase the cure speed.
  • UAX-288- UV Activator Liquid for white: - Addition up to 5% to increase the cure speed.

 

How to Supply:-1 &2.5 Kg Black Plastic container.

 

Shelf life: - At least 12 months when stored under the correct condition (Protected against heat and light, 20 Deg. Cent.)
